Chief Executive Officer
Boris is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sunrise Real Estate. He is also the Chairman of the Investment Committee.
Prior to founding Sunrise in 2020, Boris was Co-Head of European Real Estate at Sculptor Capital Management (formerly Och-Ziff) since 2014. Boris started his career in 2007 at Blackstone, where he worked in the Real Estate Group in both London and New York. Throughout his career at Blackstone and Sculptor, Boris worked on real estate transactions with a total value of over $10 billion.
Boris received a BA in Economics from Furman University (summa cum laude) and an MSc in Financial Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (merit).
Chief Operating Officer & Head of Asset Management
Jenny is a Founding Partner and Chief Operating Officer and Head of Asset Management of Sunrise Real Estate. She is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of Sunrise and the asset management activities within the portfolio. She also serves as a member of the Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Sunrise, Jenny was a Principal in the Real Estate Group at Blackstone, where she worked in the New York and London offices from 2012 to 2021. While in New York, she primarily focused on new residential and logistics investments across North America. After moving to London in 2019, she shifted to focus on real estate asset management activities on the logistics and residential investments across Europe. She also spent six months in Beijing working with China Investment Corporation in 2014, and upon returning to the New York office, she played a key role in facilitating various transactions between U.S. and China.
Jenny graduated magna cum laude from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.
Head of Investments
Kyle is a Founding Partner and Head of Investments of Sunrise Real Estate. He is responsible for overseeing Sunrise’s acquisition efforts. He also serves as a member of the Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Sunrise, Kyle was a Senior Vice President at ARK Fund Management in London, where he led acquisitions across Europe. Prior to ARK, Kyle worked for Sculptor Capital Management (formerly Och-Ziff) and Blackstone, where he focused on equity and debt investment opportunities across Europe. Kyle started his career with Morgan Stanley’s investment banking real estate team between London and Madrid.
Kyle graduated summa cum laude with a dual degree in International Business from Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICADE and Northeastern University.
Chief Financial Officer
Richard is a Founding Partner and Chief Financial Officer of Sunrise Real Estate. He is responsible for overseeing the finance function and leads on all finance, tax and structuring workstreams. He also serves as a member of the Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Sunrise, Richard was a Senior Vice President in the Real Estate Group at Blackstone where he worked in the London office for 6 years. During this time he took a lead finance and tax role on logistics and core+ investments across Europe, fund structuring and preparing portfolio companies for exit. Prior to Blackstone, Richard worked at PwC for 6 years where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW.
Richard graduated with a first class degree in Physics from the University of Bath.
Head of Development
Matthew is a Founding Partner and Head of Development of Sunrise Real Estate. He is responsible for overseeing Sunrise’s developments across Europe, including all technical and environmental due diligence efforts. He also serves as a member of the Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Sunrise, Matthew was a founder and director of a successful engineering company. Prior to that he led the residential development team at Dominvs Group, overseeing significant growth in the business. Matthew completed his formal training as a civil engineer at Alan Baxter Associates, working on a wide range of developments across the UK.
Matthew graduated from University College London in Civil Engineering with a First-Class degree. Matthew is also a Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers.
Acquisitions
Lukas spearheads our acquisitions efforts in Northern Europe.
Prior to joining Sunrise in 2021, Lukas was an Investment Analyst at Valor Real Estate Partners. Prior to Valor, Lukas worked at J.P. Morgan and Barclays, in both London and Frankfurt.
Lukas received a BSc in Mathematics from Goethe University and an MSc in International Finance from the HEC Paris (highest honours).
Finance
Vincent is in the Finance team.
He supports the team on various finance, tax and structuring work streams, particularly with regards to transactions and development.
Prior to joining Sunrise, Vincent was a Fund Controller at Round Hill Capital, overseeing all finance related aspects on various logistics and residential platforms across Europe, totalling over $2 billion. Prior to Round Hill, Vincent spent 1.5 years at KPMG London in Asset Management, and 3 years at EY Johannesburg, working in audit for various listed clients across banking and retail.
Vincent received a BCom in Accounting from Rhodes University and Honours in Accounting Sciences from UNISA. He is a registered Chartered Accountant with SAICA.
Asset Management
Daniel is in the Asset Management team.
Prior to joining Sunrise in 2021, Daniel was an analyst in the finance team at Valor Real Estate Partners. Prior to Valor, he worked at Telereal Trillium predominantly in their strategic land team.
Dan received a BA in Mathematics from Trinity College, Cambridge.
Development & Sustainability
Grace is in the Development team.
Grace graduated from Imperial College London having received a MEng (Hons) in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
During university, Grace was the President of the El Salvador Project, a society which organised and constructed a bridge to help children get to school in rural El Salvador. Other experience includes an internship at Chessler Holdings.
Executive Assistant & Office Manager
Bonnie is our Executive Assistant & Office Manager.
Prior to joining Sunrise, Bonnie spent 4.5 years as an Executive Assistant at a prestigious wealth management firm in Edinburgh. Prior to this, she was Operations Manager for 21CC Group Ltd co-ordinating and managing all aspects of events and logistics.
Bonnie also spent 2 years working for NAAFI in Germany as part of the finance team and worked on various events with the armed forces.
Finance
Carla is in the Finance team.
She supports the finance team with accounting related tasks with a particular focus on financial reporting. Prior to joining Sunrise, Carla was a Senior Associate at PWC in the Wealth and Asset Management Division. She worked on various audits of alternative funds, in specific investment valuations. Prior to PWC, Carla spent 2 years doing her accounting articles at EY Johannesburg, she had exposure to a variety of audits including a JSE listed bank and a REIT. Prior to joining EY, Carla completed her first year of article experience at The University of the Witwatersrand as an Academic Trainee, during this year Carla was involved in tutoring and consulting on technical accounting content. Carla received a Bachelor of Accounting Science, Bachelor of Accounting Science Honours and a Master of Commerce from The University of the Witwatersrand. Carla is a registered Chartered Accountant with SAICA.
Legal
Harry joined Sunrise Real Estate in 2022.
Prior to joining Sunrise, Harry was an associate in the Corporate Finance team at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP.
Harry graduated with a first-class degree in History from Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford University before completing his legal studies at BPP Law School.
Asset Management & Sustainability
Isabelle is in the Asset Management team and leads Sunrise’s sustainability efforts.
Prior to joining Sunrise in 2022, Isabelle was a Fund Management Associate at Henderson Park Capital Partners. Prior to Henderson Park, Isabelle worked at KPMG across financial modelling and data analytics for banking and asset management clients.
Isabelle is a CFA charterholder and received a BSc in Mathematics with Modern Languages from University College London (first class honours).
Asset Management
Fionn is in the Asset Management team and also provides support across the development and acquisitions function.
Prior to joining Sunrise, Fionn was an Investment Analyst at Delin Property, focusing on Pan-European logistics acquisitions. Prior to Delin, Fionn held internships at Orange Capital Partners, Stanhope Capital and PwC.
Fionn received a BCom (first class honours) in Economics from the University of Galway.
Asset Management
Kelsey is a member of the Asset Management team.
Prior to joining Sunrise, Kelsey was an Investment Analyst Intern at Sapphire Capital Partners LLP, where she developed key skills in investment management and gained experience working with property funds.
Kelsey graduated with first-class honours from University College Dublin, where she earned a BSc in Economics and Finance.
Investments
Leo is part of the investment team at Sunrise and leads the business’ efforts in France while also covering Southern Europe.
Before joining Sunrise in 2024, he was an associate at Brookfield Asset Management, where he worked in the European logistics team. In addition to logistics, he previously held roles in Brookfield’s office and retail teams working across both investments and portfolio management.
Leo received a BSc in Finance and Investment Banking from Henley Business School and an MSc in Real estate Investments from Cass Business School.
Acquisitions and Development
Zakariya works within Acquisitions and Development at Sunrise.
Prior to joining sunrise, he interned at Apple with the Real Estate Legal team as well as WSP on the structural engineering team.
Zakariya graduated from University College London with a first in MEng Civil Engineering.
Acquisitions and Development
Krishan works within Acquisitions and Development at Sunrise.
Before joining Sunrise full-time, Krishan gained valuable experience as an intern with the company during the summer following his second year of undergraduate studies.
He holds a BSc in Economics and Geography, graduating with honours from University College London.
Acquisitions Team
Luigi is a member of the Acquisitions team at Sunrise, having joined the firm in 2025.
Prior to this, he worked at Macquarie in London, where he was an Analyst in the EMEA Principal Investments team. He focused on deploying the bank’s balance sheet across the value-add infrastructure and real estate sectors.
Luigi holds a MSc in International Finance from HEC Paris and a BSc in Management with Finance from Warwick Business School.
Asset Management
Lydia is a member of the Asset Management team at Sunrise, having joined in 2025.
Prior to this, she spent three years as an Investment Analyst at Madison International Realty. Lydia also gained valuable experience through internships at Eastdil Secured and CBRE.
She holds a BSc in Banking and Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
